About

If accounting fails me, maybe I’ll take up falconry.

Douglas Scott is a boring accountant with years of experience in tax preparation, consulting and bookkeeping. He received his Master’s of Taxation from Georgia State University and has lived in Kirkwood for over 10 years. He is a licensed CPA and a member of the Georgia Society of CPA’s. He is the the author of the children’s book “Miles Above the Sea” and blog The Punk Rock Accountant, which will hopefully be updated some time in the next decade.

Douglas has worked with a variety of clients and specializes in individual, small business and partnership tax.

On a personal level, he is very passionate about animals, music and the environment. He enjoys traveling and spends his free time hanging out with his wife, son and menagerie of rescue animals and attempting to learn the cello.
